Volunteers

CLBB is always in need of volunteers for its Regular and Second Seasons. Because of volunteers, several hundred kids are able to play basketball each year. Below is a list of positions where you can volunteer your time and talent.

Scorekeepers

CLBB is hiring high school young men and women to help with keeping score at CLBB games for the younger age groups. This is a fun way to earn money and help your community. Scorekeepers are responsible for working the scorebook, not the clock. The pay starts at $8.00/per game worked.

 

The following criteria must be met to be eligible:

  1. High school student who would be zoned to attend Space Center, Clear Lake, Seabrook or Westbrook Intermediate school.

  2. Available on Saturdays and some weeknights.

  3. Attend a meeting/training session.

 

There are limited Scorekeeper positions available. If you are interested in becoming a CLBB Scorekeeper, please print the application, fill out the information, and then scan and email it to tomgschmidt@comcast.net.

 

You may also bring your application to a tryout session or give to a CLBB Board Member.

Community Service - Timekeepers

JUNIOR HIGH/HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS - COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS (GAME CLOCK)

​

CLBB is offering junior high and high school students the opportunity to earn community service hours by working the game clock for CLBB games (Age Groups Junior 9 to PRO). 

​
