CLBB Regular Season

Our youngest playing division is our Junior 9’s and is for players who are in the 3rd grade. The oldest division for the regular season is for players in 6th grade.  Our eligibility requirements are that boys are zoned to either attend or eventually attend Clear Lake, Seabrook, Space Center, or Westbrook Intermediate schools though players attending other schools are eligible based on availability. Teams are formed through a draft and players are required to attend a draft evaluation. The evaluations and draft will take place in early November. Practices will start in November or December and games in January after the winter break.

CLBB Second Season

CLBB Second Season basketball is open to all 6th through 12th graders. There are two Divisions. The College Division is for 6th to 8th graders. The Pro Division is for 9th to 12th graders. Players may play up a division per the skill of the player and based on availability. Many of the players currently play or have played school team basketball and will be or are attending Clear Lake, Clear Brook, or Clear Falls High Schools. Players who attend other CCISD and non CCISD high schools are eligible based on availability.

This is a post-season league designed for ALL GAMES, and NO PRACTICES. Teams are formed by a draft and players are required to attend a draft evaluation in March after Spring Break. The season runs from late March to mid-May and games are played in the evenings Monday through Friday and Saturday afternoons. After the regular season, all teams will play in a post season tournament with awards going to the winning and runner-up teams.

Players must play in a black/white CLBB jersey and the cost of a jersey is $20.00 and can be purchased in person at tryouts. Players must have paid prior to participating in a draft evaluation to be eligible for the draft.

CLBB Volunteers

Our goal is for everyone to have a positive experience playing CLBB. Please let us know if you have any ideas to improve CLBB. All input will be appreciated and considered. Even better, donate your time and VOLUNTEER! From Board members to coaches and timekeepers, CLBB has thrived on the strength of its volunteers.

CLBB Scorekeeping

CLBB is hiring high school young men and women to help with keeping score at CLBB games for all the divisions (3rd-12th Grade). This is a fun way to earn money and help your community. Scorekeepers are responsible for working the scorebook, not the clock. The pay starts at $8.00/per game.

The following criteria must be met to be eligible:

1. High school student who would be zoned to attend Space Center, Clear Lake, Seabrook or Westbrook Intermediate school.
2. Available on Saturdays and some weeknights.
3. Attend a meeting/training session.

There are limited Scorekeeper positions available. If you are interested in becoming a CLBB Scorekeeper, please fill out the application and email it to You may also bring your application to a tryout session or give it to a CLBB Board Member.
